Breast reduction

Also known as reduction mammoplasty, breast reduction removes excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to achieve a breast size in proportion with your body and to alleviate the discomfort associated with overly large breast.

A women’s breast can enlarge in the adolescence or later, after pregnancy. The areola is often enlarged too.

After breast reduction, patients have an inverted "T" scar which is generally very thin.

Is a breast reduction good for me ?

Breast reduction is a highly individualized procedure and you should do it for yourself, not to fulfill someone else’s desires or to try to fit any sort of ideal image.

Breast reduction is a good option for you if :

• You are physically healthy and maintain a stable weight
• You don’t smoke
• You have realistic goals
• You breast are big, heavy, and sometimes can even lead you to backache
• One breast is bigger than the other

Where are the scars after a rhinoplasty ?

After a rhinoplasty, there will always be scars inside the nostril. Furthermore, often, there will be a scar under the columella (thin part of the nose situated between the two nostrils).
